Vraag 13 was moeilijk. Aangezien de andere mogelijkheden allemaal marsupials zijn en er ook fossiele resten zijn gevonden van de platypus in Zuid-Amerika, heb ik toch voor A gekozen.

Ik zal eens kijken of we een quiz twee kunnen maken.

Oh, valt mee! Ik twijfelde juist over 11. Ik was juist vrij zeker van 14....

Een drop bear is trouwens een 'myth'. Men maakt altijd grapjes dat het echt bestaat, een soort grote koala, die zich boven op je laat vallen, en heel gevaarlijk is, dus ook honden enz kan doden!!!!

Doet me denken aan een Bunyip, bestaat ook niet!

Ik kijk uit naar Quiz 2!!

En ik er maar vanuit gaan dat een drop bear een marsupial is

. Ik vermoedde wel dat deze vraag een instinker was, maar ik dacht dat het was omdat (voorouders van) de platypus ook in Zuid-Amerika voorkwamen.

Drop Bear:

A Drop Bear is an Australian marsupial supposedly related to the Koala .

It is much like the Koala but perhaps three times larger. It has distinctive large gripping talons and forearms and is very sensitive to sound. Drop Bears are named for their propensity to become disoriented and fall on parties of noisy unsuspecting tourists. The injuries caused as Drop Bears frantically attempt to secure a hold on the torsos of their victims are quite horrific and their images have been suppressed by the Australian Government. Tourists are advised to wear crash-helmets when in the vicinty of eucalypts. They are known to be particularly aggravated by the tones and cadence of the North America n accent.
