Hello to ya all,
greetings from an irish guy in Holland who is currently visiting Mariekske, my girlfriend...
I am finally able to write since I could not find out this site on my own bcause most of it is in Dutch.
Fortunately I am sitting next to my Mariekske and she is trying to help me out.
I would like to have a chat with you all, but I can only do this in english if that is not a problem. I only know a few dutch words but I am still learning... For any of you that can teach me more important dutch words that are essential, please let me know. I will try to register under my own name after this instead of Mariekske's...
I am currently working on my sponsorship visa as a general electrician, and hopefully I will be in Perth now soon!
It would be nice to hear from someone who is also working on a sponsorship visa so we can swap information!

You can join us in the english topic in de Kletsdoos. Everybody talks english in there about a lot of things. You'll like it ;)

I've been here 13 years so Dutch is no longer a problem for me.  But like the others say use the 'speaking English' thread.

I've been following you and Mariekske's story, bad luck about the rejected application  :-(  Hope things go better from now on for you guys.
