Ik weet of er inmiddels nieuw nieuws is.
Ik zou een search doen op BE, en dan vooral letten op berichtjes van Alan, George, Steven, JAJ.

This is the latest strictly unofficial information we have on this new visa from 1/7/2004

- 3 year temporary visa

- application fee looks around $1800

- Have to live in the regional area for 2 years

- Have to meet at the end of the 3 years some other already established visa category such as Regional business, Regional company sponsorship or state sponsored categories. So is not automatic.

- There is a general requirement for people to work for 1 year in the regional area

- Passmark 110 points

- Regional looks like being defined as all of South Australia, Tasmania and Northern Territory. As well as all the other states except the capital cities in those states.

- There may be an opportunity for people who are in the pool for the 136 or about to go into the pool, to transfer to this new visa category. So that may allow current graduates on 50 point occupations to apply before mid June 2004 for 136 and transfer over.
