Primary Schools in the Adelaide Hills

Hi, does anyone have any feedback (the good and the bad) from their experience with sending their children to primary schools in the Adelaide Hills? I wanted to first send my daughter (when she turns 6 in two years) to a private school but am open to sending her to a public primary school if it is a good one. I would be grateful for any information about your views!

Thanks,

Hello,

My children are going to Crafers ps and I am very happy with the school. I think it is a not too big but big enough; around 250. Stirling East is twice as big, but a beautiful new building. I think Crafers and Stirling East both have a great reputation. Aldgate I am not sure... it is becoming smaller and smaller. I've heard not really positive things from Bridgewater ps. We are moving (.... one day) to Scott Creek and I don't know what we'll do. Scott Creek has a primary school, but there are 40 children, so it is very small. I think a bit too small, but my friend's child is going to Mylor (also very small) and she thinks it is great.

So it is all very personal.

Good luck!

Carmen
