The Desert Palms Resort is a 3.5 star resort with 80 self contained Villa’s situated in the tourist precinct of Alice Springs and is the preferred place to stay of the 2007 Finke winner Hayden Bentley and his team.
The resort has just renovated all Villa’s, all new beds and linen and WiFi installed to all Villa’s and we are looking for a dedicated, reliable

Duties will include:
Reservations / Email Confirmations
Customer Service
Departures & Arrivals
Problem Solving
Liaison with Housekeeping and Maintenance
Switchboard / PABX
Cash and Credit Card Handling
The successful applicant must be able to manage numerous tasks at the same time and be able to work independently as well as part of a team
This position requires the following skills:
Previous Front Office or similar Customer Service Industry Experience.
Excellent Customer Service.
Knowledge of Computers and Microsoft Office programs.
Outgoing Personality and People Skills.
Excellent Grooming.
Attention to detail.
Understanding of the Hospitality Industry.
This Full Time position is based on a roster that involves morning shifts (6AM-2PM) and afternoon shifts (1PM-8PM).

Alice Springs is een hele leuke stad in het midden van Australie, Alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig, K-Markt, Target, Mc Donalds, Kentucky Fried etc. etc. Behalve Qantas, die iedere dag naar iedere "capital city" vliegt start in December Tiger Airways naar Melbourne (CHEAP) en Virgin Blue en Jet Star waarschijnlijk vanaf volgend jaar. De omgeving is schitterend en we hebben hier geen waterbeperkingen :smile:
Om gesponsord te worden moet je wel de relevante opleidingen en ervaringen hebben. Sponsoring is met een contract voor 2 jaar. Ook voor mensen die al een visa hebben maar van baan/omgeving willen veranderen is dit een unieke kans om in de Red Centre van Australie te wonen en werken.
