Zo af en toe kijk ik nog eens op de website van de Australische overheid om te zien of er wellicht iets is veranderd in de visa voorwaarden.
Op http://www.immi.gov.au/visas/temporary-visa/401/ las ik dat je een tijdelijke werkvisum subclass 401 kunt aanvragen voor een domestic work long stay to work full time in the household of certain senior foreign executives.
Houdt dat in dat je als een soort huishoudster van een buitenlandse directeur meereist? Bijvoorbeeld in zijn/haar gezin? Of kun je hier ook beroep op doen als je een baan kunt krijgen als huishoudelijk werknemer van iemand die leiding geeft aan een (buitenlands) bedrijf in Australië? Heeft iemand een idee hoe dit zit?

You can apply for this visa under the Domestic Worker (Executive) stream if:

• you are sponsored by an approved long-stay activity sponsor who is either:
  • a foreign government agency that is the employer of the holder of a Subclass 403 (Temporary Work (International Relations)) visa in the Privileges and Immunities stream who is the national managing director, deputy national managing director or state manager of an Australian office of the agency or
  • a foreign organisation that is lawfully operating in Australia and is the employer of the holder of a Subclass 457 (Temporary Work (Skilled)) visa who is the national managing director, deputy national managing director or state manager of an Australian office of the organisation.
