Persoonlijke Applicatie Berlijn - sneller of niet?

Hallo Allemaal,

Ik heb meerdere threads gelezen over de persoonlijke applicatie voor partner visa in Berlijn (eerder de schnell-procedure). Ook al staat op de website van de Australian Embassy in Berlin dat een peroonlijke lodgement van de application niet betekend dat de visa process sneller zal zijn, heb ik wel gelezen dat vele die deze persoonlijke lodgement of application hebben gedaan dezelfde dag nog zijn weggelopen met hun temporary partner visa in hun paspoort.
Nu heb ik de embassade in Berlijn hierover gebelt en hun beweren echt dat of je nu via post of persoonlijk komt dat de processing time die je moet verwachten altijd 5 tot 6 maanden is. Hier schrok ik wel van omdat wij voor het einde van het jaar terug willen naar Australie, ook omdat mijn viriend (nlse) bij mijn vader's werk in Australie aan de slag kan.

Kan iemand mij vertellen of dit wat de embassade mij gezegt heeft nu echt waar is of niet?! Is dit gewoon overheids beleid om mensen het via de post te laten doen of is het echt niet meer mogelijk?

Ze zij ook dat wij moeten wachten met de VOG en gezondsheid check tot onze case officer ons ervoor vraagt en de details van precies wat voor VOG we moeten hebben. Op het formulier van de VOG staat namelijk (ook voor gebelt) dat we een brief of email moeten toevoegen van de instantie die de VOG wilt hebben.

Hoe hebben andere dit gedaan als je deze check wilt doen en je kan WEL nog versnelt je visa krijgen door persoonlijk naar Berlijn te gaan? Want wij willen dan graag deze en de health check van te voren laten doen natuurlijk.

Ben ook wel erg benieuwd naar de antwoorden op jouw vragen. Mij lijkt t juist dat t tijd scheelt als je vast de VOG en medicals meteen erbij doet. En heb volgens mij ook verhalen hier gelezen v partnervisa's die in 3 mnd binnen waren maar zomervakantie zit er nu tussen kost vast ook extra tijd...
 
Ik heb die verhalen ook gehoord, maar dat zou dan gaan om 'vroeger'. Blijkbaar is er een periode geweest dat je, als je alles op orde had, je met je spullen naar de ambassade kon gaan en met visum weg ging. Helaas is dag verleden tijd. Tenminste, voor zover ik weet.
 
Je VOG direct meesturen en je medische keuring eerder doen (de keuringsarts stuurt dit zelf door) kan het proces wat versnellen, maar je moet er wel rekening mee houden dat je vervolgens binnen 12 maanden je visum moet hebben en in Australie moet zijn (anders ben je je visumkosten gewoon kwijt). Ik heb het risico genomen en had na 3,5 maanden mijn visum, maar elke case is natuurlijk anders...

Die 12 mnd is dat vanaf de dag dat je het hebt ingediend of je je grant krijgt?
 
meestal vanaf het moment dat je de VOG hebt gekregen of je Medical. Maar net welke het langst geleden is...
 
Ze zijn inderdaad allebei max 12 maanden geldig: de VOG vanaf de afgiftedatum en de medische keuring vanaf de datum dat je gekeurd bent. Je moet dus altijd rekening houden met de eerste datum.
 
OK bedankt! Dus dan kan je het beter niet direct inleveren als je je huis nog moet verkopen.
 
Als we ons huis al verkocht krijgen hebben we geen geld meer voor tickets laat staan voor extra tickets...
 
Bedankt voor de reacties alvast. Ziet erna uit dat niemand er een duidelijk antwoord op heeft maar wij hebben toch besloten om het hele pakket met VOG en health check persoonlijk af te geven in Aug of Sept (wonen in Aug pas 1 jaar samen). Is het proberen waard voor ons omdat wij zoiezo within a couple of months of the visa being granted naar Oz gaan. Will keep you posted on if it really is faster or makes no difference at all.
VOG gaan we proberen te krijgen met de visa checklist included, wat voor iemand in an earlier thread zo ook is gelukt. Health check, considering Antwerp for that one, as it seems to be a fair bit cheaper. Fingers crossed because I honestly don't know if I can handle another Dutch winter....
Als iemand een deze weken naar Berlin gaat, horen wij graag hoe het is gegaan met hun!

Hoi, mijn vriend had berlijn ook gebeld met dezelfde vraag en hem vertelden ze dat ze dat tot 2 jaar geleden inderdaad direct je visum meegaven maar helaas nu niet meer. Mijne gaat maandag eindelijk de post op en is al compleet met VOG en medicals (die liggen zelfs al in Berlijn). Ik hoop na alles wat ik lees op dit forum m dan toch met een maand of 3/4 te hebben. Succes in ieder geval!

About those medicals. We want to go to Antwerp for my bfs medicals and they also informed him that they send it directly to Berlin which would be great of course but we are wondering how Berlin deals with these medicals sent to them without an application having been lodged. How did you get them sent to Berlin without having a case officer (plus ref number or other info relating directly to your application)?
Your info would be very helpful! We applied for his VOG and asked for it to be sent to our home address here in NL and we haven't heard anything to the contrary so we're eagerly awaiting that doc! (it's been a week and a half since the application).

Euhm, I've apllied for my VOG somewhere in June and had done my medicals on the 2nd of July. The 15th of July I have applied for my visa and they recieved the whole package at the 20th of July. I gave them a call somewhere that week and informed them about my medicals, that had arrived earlier. They said this was no problem at all. They make sure that MY medicals will be added to MY application. I had no file nr. or what so ever at that time. I believe many people do it that way and they are used to it.

So far I have recieved an e-mail telling my application has been recieved, with my file nr, reciept nr (money has been taken of account already) and with the name of my case officer. The have done a full background check on my boyfriend already cause she immediatly had some questions about his permanent visa (it is expired, and they wanted to know wether he had applied for a resisent return visa yet). My application was valid, so guess they found all my documents I have send.

Just be carefull with the forms (47sp and 40sp), they came up with new ones at the 1rst of July. This is why my boyfriends application for his resident return was invalid, we had printed the forms before the 1rst and send them after the 1rst so they were outdated. No, I had done the same thing. I had printed out my forms months ago but have send my application after the 1rst of July. That is why I gave them a call as well, to inform them about this matter and apparently they didn't really care about that for my visa cause my application is valid.

Anyway, this is my story so far. Any more questions? Feel free to ask!

Thanks for the reply Anja! Either English or Dutch is fine :) . After calling the Embassy to question them about the medical again we decided to listen to them and wait for the request from the embassy before getting it done. We did notice the forms had changed and luckily filled those ones in! They've also got new Stat Decs, one for the applicant and one for the sponsor so decided to print and use those as well.
We are working to get the package posted this Friday! I called the embassy and they informed me processing time has gone up to 8 to 9 months because they've had heaps of applications the last couple of months and I was very unhappy to hear that!!! I hope my boyfriend's application is as complete as possible and they can hurry it along a little coz I might be out of a job in February which would be a bit of a disaster if we haven't got his visa yet. Plus I hate winter and those short dark days and am yearning for some normal weather..i.e. sunshine sunshine sunshine....

ps did you get all those copies certified and the witnessing done at a justice of the peace (notaris)?? We're going to the local gemeente to get it done and they're way cheaper! I'm assuming they're authorised too, being a government body and all... it's just that I see everyone talking about notarissen and I wonder why they even bother with them and their high prices.

Thanks once again and I hope you get your visa real soon. I would do anything to get my partner's visa today so we could leave!

Een wachttijd van 5-6 maanden zou mooi zijn. Ik heb een maanden gelden nog gebeld naar de status van mijn aanvraag en kreeg daar te horen dat de gemiddelde wachttijd momenteel tussen de 6 en 8 maanden ligt. Dus moet ik nog enkele maanden dagelijks mijn mail nakijken en maar hopen dat ik snel naar mijn vrouw kan vertrekken.

Helaas, de wachttijd is opgeschroefd naar 7-9 maanden. Ook 'oude cases' moeten nu langer wachten dan de 5 maanden die er eerst voor stonden. Super vervelend! Kennelijk het resultaat van aangepaste immigratiecijfers vanuit Canberra. Voor mijn aanvraag was er geen aanvullende informatie mer nodig, dus helemaal compleet nu. 5 november zouden we op 5 maanden zitten. Maar mn CO gaf al aan dat ze eerst eerdere cases moeten behandelen, om het proces zo eerlijk mogelijk te laten verlopen. Makkelijke gevallen kunnen niet voor afgehandeld worden, zo zei ze.
Hopen dat dingen toch sneller verlopen dan ze zelf inschatten!!

Hi!
We were also informed that the processing time had changed to 7-9 months and with the same information as you mention in your message. After providing some additional information our application is also complete so now we're in for a long wait. We've got a bit longer to go before we even hit the 5 month mark unfortunately, but you're over halfway now! I am really hoping that all the applications move along quicker than they anticipated so that our turn for that much coveted visa comes sooner than expected!
