Aussie TV-programma

Zei iemand dat My Restaurant Rules 2005 in Nederland op tv is geweest? Volgens mij niet, of ik heb het compleet gemist, maar dat denk ik niet. De eerste serie, 2004, is uitgezonden op (toen nog) Yorin. Die heb ik toen helemaal gezien. En de herhalingen afgelopen zomer ook. Woohoo Perth!  :cheer:

McLeod's Daughters hebben we hier op Net 5 inderdaad. Ik vertelde aan een vriendin in Melbourne dat ze dat hier uitzonden, en haar reactie: IK HAAT DIE SERIE!  :-D Ze heeft een vriendin die op een boerderij woont en ze zegt dat de serie totaal GEEN realistisch beeld geeft van het leven daar.

Mijn moeder keek ook altijd naar Flying Doctors haha (en ik dus ook). Op zich vind ik het nu niet echt een erg goede serie maar omdat het Australisch is ben ik dan toch wel weer geïnteresseerd  :wink:

Secret Life Of Us vond die vriendin in Melbourne dan wel weer helemaal te gek. Ik heb het zelf wel eens gezien maar niet echt gevolgd.

Ha, Flying Doctors is jeugdherinnering, en toen het een tijd geleden herhaald werd hebben we zo vaak mogelijk gekeken.

We zien het niet vaak maar Secret live of us inderdaad een leuke serie. Ok, wel een soap, maar (waarschijnlijk doordat het een Ozzie-soap is) toch leuk.

My Restaurant Rules en The Block..... Moet je jong, slank, fit, waanzinnig creatief, knap, hip, funky, groovy, beautiful en megamega voor zijn.

Doe mij maar Kath & Kim. Of andere van die waanzinnig leuk-debiele Australische comedies en sketches.
 
Op RTL4 komt 's middags (weet zo even niet meer welke dag) een kookprogramma, Bill's Food. Bill is dus een Australische kok, hij maakt gerechten vaak met lokale (Sydney geloof ik) producten. Ik vind kookprogramma's altijd wel leuk, en zijn stijl bevalt me ook wel. Niemand van de mensen die ik ken in Australië heeft ooit van dat programma gehoord overigens  :-D

Hier in dit huis geen kabel, de tv vindt ik niet zoveel aan eigenlijk... :-o
 
Hoi Lin, kan ik me voorstellen, ook hier liggen de goeie programma's niet echt voor het oprapen, maar er zit her en der wel wat interessants tussen, maar dat zijn dan meer docu's enzo.
 
"House" vanavond! en wat ook leuk is "Spic's & spack's" op de ABC (weet even niet op welke avond) is een soort muziek quiz met "bekende" Australiers.

En dan heb je nog "Rex Hunts fishing expeditions". En nog niet eens zo lang geleden; "The bushtucker man". Dat vond ik nou zeer informatief.

Kijk Syl daar heb je het al. Ik ben op woensdag altijd naar orkest. Dus geen kans om House te kijken :(....
 
Hee, Rex Hunt en z'n zoon zijn in elkaar geslagen, een paar dagen geleden, toch? Of was dat weer een andere zeeman?
 
Rex Hunt and son 'attacked by gang'
October 31, 2005

Fishing and football identity Rex Hunt has been assaulted in an apparent gang attack on the streets of one of Australia's most famous tourist towns.
A group of up to 15 youths reportedly set upon Mr Hunt and his son Matthew in the NSW resort town of Byron Bay on Friday night, leaving the television fishing guru with cuts to his head.
In a statement to Lismore's Northern Star newspaper, Mr Hunt confirmed he was the victim of the attack in Jonson Street.
He indicated he might pursue charges over the incident, although he has not yet lodged a complaint with police.
"I am seeing where I stand legally as a law-abiding citizen being involved in an unprovoked attack in what I thought was a holiday town," Mr Hunt said.
Police today said they were not investigating the matter.
"There's no investigation by police," said a Byron Bay police officer, who asked not to be named.
"No complaint's been lodged.
"Anyone is entitled to come in and make a complaint but there's none at this stage."
Mr Hunt's employer, Southern Cross Broadcasting, declined to comment.

Mr Hunt's office had a recorded message saying it was closed for the Melbourne Cup and would reopen on Wednesday.
Further comment was being sought from Mr Hunt's associates.
Southern Cross radio today reported Mr Hunt and his son had been in Byron Bay to attend a wedding.
Mr Hunt was reportedly hit on the head with a bottle and his son was kicked and punched.
"It's terrible," a commentator on the radio station said.
"Imagine being in a tourist town, or anywhere, and you get set upon by 15 people.
"We hope Rex and Matthew are OK ... Rex is apparently not too bad but Matt copped it.
"I think they both went to hospital, but Matthew was worse off than Rex."

Sommige humor snap ik nog niet helemaal but i'm trying!!
 
Dank u René. Ik zat daarstraks in de auto naar 4BC te luisteren, en ik viel midden in een discussie over Rex & Son. Blijkbaar is meneer Hunt zelf ook niet echt van de subtiele, en schijnt hij nogal grof in de bek te zijn. Tja. Maakt niet uit, het is en blijft stom!
