Wat een raar verhaal: nu al driekwartjaar geldt de eis 4 x 7 voor IELTS vanuit het DIAC! Toen ik met de aanvraag begon in augustus, was dit net verschertpt. Vreemd dat die accounting bodies daar zo achteraan hobbelen, je kon toch al niet meer aanvragen zonder die 4 x 7.

De eis vanuit de DIAC voor die 7 heeft alleen te maken van de CSL:
"Accountant -- where the applicant has achieved a score of at least IELTS 7 in each of the four competencies, and/or has completed The Professional Year – Skilled Migration Internship Program Accounting (SMIPA)"

Ben jij wel accountant, maar heb je niet overal minimaal een 7 voor, dan sta je daarmee niet meer op de CSL. Denk dus dat dit een wijziging is op de bestaande CSL en dus een vooruitblik op de nieuwe lijst.
 
Ik vind het vreemd dat de accountancy organisaties dit betrekken bij de skills assessment. Zoals Annemarie al aangeeft: het verandert niets aan de huidige situatie. Maar het lijkt erop dat je je skills assessment nu niet positief kunt afronden zonder 4x7 voor je IELTS. In de huidige situatie staan deze 2 los van elkaar, en beoordeelt het DIAC de combinatie van deze 2 voorwaarden. Wat wordt het volgende: dan je je medicals ook naar CPA Australia moet sturen?
