Hooi allemaal, ik heb onze wens al op FB en diverse house-and-pet-sitting sites gepost, en we hebben al aardig wat reacties binnen. Maar er zit nog niks bij dat precies matcht met onze behoeften dus waag ik het hier ook maar. Misschien hebben jullie plannen of kennen jullie mensen met plannen. Punt is dat ik en Mr Emulate 4 tot 6 weken ons huis in inner north Melbourne moeten ontruimen wegens verbouwing, van begin mei tot uiterlijk half juni 2023. We willen in die tijd elders gaan house-sitten. Liefst in de buurt natuurlijk, maar we hebben er net zo veel lol in om anywhere else in Oz te gaan oppassen. Ik plaats hieronder de advertentie zoals we hem hebben geplaatst op de sitterswebsites (in het Engels dus). Als jullie tips hebben, mensen kennen die weg willen, of zelf behoefte aan een house-and-petsitter hebben, klim in de PM en laat je horen! Bij voorbaat veel dank!

Looking for a sit in or around Melbourne, upstate or interstate, for the full month of May and possibly the first 2 weeks of June 2023. Also willing to sit for just one or more weeks in this period. Our own Melbourne home will be partly renovated during this time.
We are an Australian-Dutch couple, 60+ senior citizens, no kids living with us, experienced homeowners ourselves, responsible, neat, organised, introverted and quiet. We love dogs and are used to taking care of cats and other small critters as well. We don't bring animals ourselves. We like gardening, managing veggie patches and doing little chores. We have a car. We are both (semi-)retired and have all the time in the world to take care of your home.
