Hi everyone,

Thanks for your nice replies.
I'm really feeling quite at home already.I'm in Australia for a bit over a week now.
We rented a house and bought a little car.
School starts next monday !!! That's so close.
We don't have a telephone or an internet connection yet.
So I won't be back in a hurry.

Anyway, i'm still around *G*

Newsticker live from the uni library:

I made it past o-week (orientation week).
Was partially boring, but also interesting.
Australians emphasise completely
different things about study than Germans.
It's far more about social matters than in germany,
where it's mainly about accademic success.

Looks like I can do an inofficial minor in TV production
complete with a course in directing! and
I'm taking at least 2 writing classes. Starting with
screenwriting this semester. Yes, this is great!

I hope the level of acting work is nice and high around
here. I have to admit that after classes with Jack (Waltzer)
I'm a little spoiled, and one class we watched was.. well.. ehm.
College Drama, the level of people who do it as an elective.
But maybe that was due to some external cirumstances.
So I'll keep my hopes up and make the best of it in any case.
