Hallo allemaal,
Regelmatig zie ik de vraag of het mogelijk is om een visumaan0vraag in te dienen als de recente werkervaring in een ander beroep is dan het voor de visumaanvraag genomineerde beroep. Het antwoord op deze vraag is dat dit kan maar dat er wel een risico aan kleeft.
Dit geldt met name voor situaties waar het genomineerde beroep een 40-punten beroep of een 50-punten beroep is en het beroep waarin je recente werkervaring hebt een 60-punten beroep is.
De DIAC-interne richtlijnen voor de 'case officer' zeggen hierover:
An applicant can satisfy the requirements of item 6B42 if they have been employed in any occupation on the SOL. There is no requirement that the employment be in the applicant’s nominated occupation or a closely related occupation.
Where an applicant claims to have been employed in a skilled occupation other than their nominated occupation, they would not normally be asked to also provide a skills assessment for that occupation. In the first instance officers should consider whether the applicant:
• has the entry level skills and
• has performed the full range of duties for the occupation at the skill level expected in Australia
as set out in the ASCO Dictionary.
However, if an applicant claims to have been employed in a highly-skilled occupation (eg a trade, ICT or a registrable/licensed occupation) that is totally unrelated to their nominated skilled occupation, it might be appropriate to request a skills assessment for that occupation so that it can be established that the applicant has the skills to work in that industry at a skilled level.
Als je dus recente werkervaring claimt als bijvoorbeeld electricien, loodgieter, accountant, advocaat, fysiotherapeut, etc. terwijl je dit beroep niet als genomineerd beroep hebt gebruikt, dan loop je dus het risico dat je aan het eind van de hele visumaanvraagprocedure nog 'van een koude kermis thuis kunt komen' als de 'case officer' bij het in behandeling nemen van de visumaanvraag alsnog om een tweede 'skills assessment' vraagt.
Het is niet zeker dat de 'case officer' hierom zal verzoeken, maar je moet je dus wel realiseren dat je een risico neemt.
