This is in regards to arrangements for state/territory nominated skilled visa subclasses 475, 487, 176 and 886 who are currently in category 5 in the DIAC processing queue.
Immigration SA has provided a list of valid state nominated applications to DIAC from this cohort. Immigration SA determined the validity of the sponsorship by confirming that the applicant:
Was approved SA state nomination
Lodged their visa application with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship’s (DIAC) within the timeframes stated on their SA state sponsorship approval letter*
Had a nominated occupation on the SA state occupation list at time of DIAC visa lodgement.
*Applicants who were approved for SA state sponsorship between 1/9/07 & 30/9/08 had 6 months in which to lodge their visa application. Applicants approved between 01/10/08 & 30/6/10 had 60 days in which to lodge their visa application.
Immigration SA is in the process of emailing all applicants from this category 5 DIAC processing queue cohort to the email address provided at the time of state sponsorship lodgement. If you haven’t received an email within two business days, please contact Immigration SA at gsm.sa@sa.gov.au. If you are emailing Immigration SA, please ensure you provide your full name, date of birth, DIAC reference numbers (TRN / BCC) and your Immigration SA 6 digit reference number. In the subject line of your email, please type “DIAC category 5 cohort”.
