An amazing year it’s been for Gary and Dutchy and their
Bakehouse. Gary immigrating on his skilled visa just a year
ago, leaving a well established Patisserie in Amsterdam to
team up with Bread Baker Dutchy, already living the married
life here in Sippy Downs. This life changing and already
successful first year has been very busy and exciting. Taking
family tradition of many generations of baking into creating
the bakehouse. Many of there loyal costumers find their way
down each day/week already to get there tasted buds thrilled
with the Dutchy’s delights. With all the complements they get
each day, getting up so early in the morning is rewarding and
makes them feel welcome and passionate about their work.
Ever had a Dutch doughnut, your fingers are at risk of being eaten? Then
try their Dutch fruit doughnuts (oliebollen) they melt on your
tongue. Freshly roasted Pioneer Coffee from their friends over at Yandina, traditional cookies, where
the flavor of cinnamon brings back good old memories. Even the Sourdough bread with its
crispy crust and dense moist inside is a winner. The perfect sausage roll, real quality
flavoured meat pies, irresistible vanilla slices....the list of goodies is endless. And the Dutchy’s
are here to stay, putting there skills to practice for countless anniversary’s to come. Happy first
