Daar ben ik mee begonnen maar ben ik vanaf gestapt.
Werd een aardig bloederig zooitje.
Effe iets serieus.
Vanochtend reed ik naar mijn werk en stond unleaded op $1.279 per liter.
Deze avond reef ik terug en was het gezakt naar $1.119
WHAT's going on.
Is dit hetzelfde in het Zuiden en Westen.
Dit was trouwens te zien bij alle pompen in the topend.

Wat mij opvalt aan de benzine prijzen is; dat ze de laatste weken niet op vrijdag ineens met 15 cent omhoog schieten.
Een paar weken geleden zorgde ik altijd dat ik op vrijdagochtend de tank vol had, voor het weekend. Dat is momenteel niet echt nodig.

Niet alleen bloederig, maar de kosten om zo iets aan te bieden is hoger dan met een banaan. Die bandjes zijn zo lek! Daar bovenop is het niet zo goed voor het wildlife.... al die beest'jes' die er in verstrikt kunnen raken en met zo'n band rond hun nek rondzwemmen. Aan de andere kant dat laatste zou wel eens extra gevaarlijk zijn... denk je dat er een band aan komst drijven wordt je ineens verrast :1schrik: .... nee Jack, daar heb je over nagedacht...

Toch maak ik me niet druk om crocs met een band om hun nek.
Al die mensen ronddrijvend in die anabole fietsbanden met een afgebeten reet.

Nieuw startend bedrijf "JACK'S WATERFUN" veroorzaakt afgebeten butts in the NT.
Sacha, voor jullie zonder borg en een speciale vrienden prijs....
Niet echt positieve reclame om naar huis te schrijven.

Dat van die benzine prijzen net voor het weekend Bart gebeurt hier ook.
Alleen die enorme daling van $127 naar $111 was erg vreemd.
Dit is niet gebeurt in WA , Queensland of verder naar beneden de kou in?.
Wat zijn de prijzen op dit moment in de andere staten?.
Komt er zeker weer iemand met een link van de benzine prijzen in Australia....very funny....

De plaatselijke Gulf varieert tussen de 105.9 en 1.129 (zonder kortingsbonnetje) en de rest volgt ook een beetje die trend. Echt grote schommeling zoals we die de eerste maanden zagen (kon soms 20 cent per liter schelen waar je wanneer ging tanken) zie we nu niet echt meer.
Heb ook echt geen idee hoe het komt.
En fijn dat wij voor een vriendenprijs mogen komen...mag wel wat butt kwijt raken :grin:

Cyclone Laurence now category five

THE West Australian coastal community of Kuri Bay is on red alert after Tropical Cyclone Laurence was upgraded to category five status.
The Bureau of Meteorology upgraded Laurence to the highest cyclone category this morning.
Laurence, the first cyclone of the season off the WA coast, formed in the Timor Sea on Sunday and intensified from a category one cyclone to a category three yesterday.
Forecasters expected the cyclone to weaken as it crossed the coast but said there was a small chance it could be pushed out to sea and reform.
The cyclone is small but intense and wind gusts of up to 285km/h have been recorded close to the cyclone's centre.
The Bureau of Meteorology said Laurence was estimated to be 35km west north-west of Kuri Bay, about 370km north of Broome, moving south-west at nine kilometres an hour.
A red alert is in place for people in or near Kuri Bay, who have been told to go to the strongest, safest part of their houses.
A yellow alert is in place for people in or near the communities of Mitchell Plateau, Koolan Island and Cockatoo Island.
Destructive winds were expected this afternoon and evening.
Gales and possibly destructive winds may extend to Derby and Beagle Bay tomorrow morning.
Laurence has dumped heavy rain in the north Kimberley region, which is expected to continue and extend into the western Kimberley this afternoon and tomorrow morning.
The bureau said daily rainfall of more than 100mm was a possibility near the coast.

Dat ziet er niet al te best uit!! (die cyclone bedoel ik..) Succes ermee! Hopelijk richt ie niet al te veel schade aan!
Maar ik dacht Jack gaat beginnen over dat incidentje in Afrika.. maar nee hoor.. over cyclones :wink:
Krokodil bijt Fries in z'n bil
AMSTERDAM - De 26-jarige Marten Mulder uit Leeuwarden is in Malawi bijna doodgebeten door een krokodil.
De Fries werd volgens de plaatselijke politie drie kilometer meegesleurd voordat hij kon worden gered. Het roofdier nam naar verluidt een hap in zijn bil, benen en hand. Mulder reist met twee vrienden in een oranje VW camperbusje door Afrika. Tijdens de reis doen ze allerlei ontwikkelingswerk.
Het drietal, 'the three lefthands' zoals ze zichzelf noemen, waren in Malawi toen het gruwelijk misging. Volgens politierapporten ging de man een stukje zwemmen met zijn hond toen hij werd aangevallen. Mulder werd gered door een omstander die een ijzeren voorwerp naar het dier gooide. In het ziekenhuis kreeg hij twintig hechtingen.

TERRITORY weather from north to south is still in a fluster thanks to Cyclone Laurence.
The storm briefly morphed into a Category 5 monster, hovering near the Kimberley coast, before it was downgraded yesterday to Category 4.
Bureau senior forecaster Angeline Prasad said weather swirling around Laurence had created monsoonal-like conditions for Darwin.
Not only that, but some weather models also suggest Laurence could help make Alice Springs' Todd River flow soon.
"It depends on what Laurence - or ex-Laurence - does," Ms Prasad said. She said ex-Laurence could travel to Central Australia as a rain depression and join forces with a cloud band already causing showers in the area.
If that happens, Ms Prasad said it was likely to cause significant rains.
"If a good storm passes over Alice Springs and there's been previous rain, you just need 20mm in a very short span of time (to make the Todd flow)," she said.
The bureau is forecasting Darwin will cop showers and storms each day until the end of the week.

Weather forecasters say it is likely Tropical Cyclone Laurence could reform and strengthen later in the week despite being downgraded to a category 2 storm.
Tropical Cyclone Laurence was small and intense as it bore down on the remote communities around Kuri Bay yesterday.
But they were spared the brunt of the 285 kilometre an hour winds as the category 5 cyclone made landfall around 100 kilometres north of Derby.
Bureau of Meteorology Forecaster Rabi Rivett says while it is rapidly weakening, there could be a sting in the tail with Laurence looping back over the ocean and reforming for a second assault on the Pilbara.
"The conditions do seem favourable for the cyclone to redevelop, the water is definitely very warm out there," he said.
Authorities report there has been no significant cyclone damage.
Residents in Derby, Koolan Island and Cockatoo Island have been warned to take shelter.

Valt niet mee om altijd goed geconcentreerde berichten te schrijven.
Hoop dat iedereen veel gebruik heeft kunnen maken van al mijn waardevolle informatie.
