Hi,
I am an Australian married to a nederlander jongen!
We are applying for a spouse visa.
As I have worked on and off in NL for the past five years I am wondering if I can still sponsor my husband to Australia?
I have worked for the past year, but the year before that not and the year before that 6 months... you get the picture...
I have filled in the form for sponsorship for partner (form 40SP).
I have seen in the sponsorship obligations that you can include 'support from family with a appropriate evidence'; does this mean this is where you would have your family would show that they can give financial support?
Or should I be filling in form 40SP and also asking my family to fill in form 40?
Or is there somewhere else where I can find a form for 'assurance of support'.
Would really appreciate some advice with this! Would really fantastic to have some clarity. I have read lots of your emails it is seems quiet easy if you have the right documents etc to go to berlin and get the visa immediately...
another question:
If you are married (we have been together for 2 years and then married for 2 and half years) is it still better and quicker to go to berlin in person?
and when is the best time to ring berlin... apparently it is difficult to get thru on the humber?
thanks so much for any help anyone can offer....
Sarah
PS: if you find it easier to write dutch i can understand most it!
