Ter info
To make a tentative booking at a post entry quarantine facility you need a valid import permit.
Within 5 working days you will receive email confirmation of your tentative booking and an invoice that covers the set fee for quarantine accommodation.
You must pay this invoice in full to finalise and confirm your booking.
Approval to your airline to uplift will only be granted to animals with a confirmed booking.
A second invoice for variable expenses incurred during the quarantine stay will be provided to you via email before the animal’s release.
The second invoice must be paid prior to the release of your animal/s.
Invoices for quarantine fees
You will receive two invoices for the cost of your cat and/or dog’s stay in a quarantine facility.
The first (set fee) invoice includes:
standard veterinary inspection of the animal and health certification
document assessment
an airline document charge
the daily rate for quarantine accommodation.
These fees are the set minimum charges that can be calculated for your animal/s quarantine period.
The second (variable expenses) invoice includes:
parasite treatment (if required)
additional days in quarantine
any other third party expenses incurred during the quarantine period.
This second invoice must be paid in full prior to release of your animal/s from the quarantine facility.
If circumstances change during the quarantine period, refunds or additional invoices can be issued to clients if applicable but will take time to process.
Payment of invoices
Payment is accepted by cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Payment by bank cheque must be received at least 14 working days before collecting your animal/s.
No personal cheques will be accepted. Cash and cheques are not accepted at the facilities and must be paid at the regional offices.
