 :up:Good
i got it , but  down fall , it wasn't a management job
I am just looking after and running it  on my own

well i knew i woud get it

Congrats! And running the bar on your own, is another step closer to the management, right?
YOu are happy about it, right? Or are you gonna keep on searching?

Sara

You can keep the job and keep on searching for a better one..
Anyway, congratz for so far.

And, by the way, Koen, how are you doing?
Feeling better now?

Mariette

Congratulations (I think) Katrina  :)

Don't quite understand, how can you be running the bar, but not managing it?  :?

Hai Scutch,

It is not that difficult, Katrina runs the bar, but is not the end responsible person for the bar.In other words, the manager is responsible for hiring and fireing off staff, ordering alcohol etc, Then you have Katrina who is running the bar and is responsible for serving the waitresses and custumors their ordered drinks. Katrina has to explain herself to the manager and thats it. You snap?

Greetz, Koen

Hi Koen,

Yes I snap  :)  Hopefully Katrina is not too disappointed, and the experience will be good for her until she finds something better.

How is your job searching going?

Gr,
Susan

Zoeteken, shouldn't you adapt the title of your topic ??  :?

Anyway .... hope you guys are doing okay, thanks again for helping my Hans out but I already told you that in another topic  :-D .

Katrina, don't forget to tell us which bar you are going to run, so we can all come and visit you whenever a forummember is in Melbourne!  :-D And indeed Koen, how is your jobhunting going? Found any interesting jobs yet?

Groetekes aan de zoetekes,
Sara

Hoi Sara, Annemiek,Susan,

My ears are almost as good as new, the doctor only needs to have a look inside again to tell me if everything is ok now.
Most important thing at the moment is that I can hear again, you have no idea what a releave that is.

I have tried to change the subject in my last post, but it seems not to have worked so we try again today.

Job hunting is going slow for me so to speak, I had an interview yesterday and they have send me home with home work, I have to redo my resume and tell them what I have done, which software I have used etc.
So I'm quite bussy with that at the moment.

Yesterday we had to meet up with Hans aswell and we set the time for 9.00 am, in the city, ofcourse we missed the express train by 2 minutes and we had to wait half an hour, the train that we did catch was stopping at every single station, and also did the city loop.  :x

So we ran half an hour late, when we went oout of the station we had to run and find Hans, put a envelope in his hands and then run of to my job interview which was at 10:00 am.

I was furious that we were so late, I hate being late, and also leaving Hans like that, but he was ok with it. I really hate going into the city,or use public transport!!!

Anyway, at exactly 10:00 am we were at the right address, and as I said they burned me down, but other than that they were really nice, and they might have a job in Rowville, as soon as I sent in my new resume.  :-D

So I better get started.
Take care and Speak to you soon. :bye:
Koen

Public Transport, I think it is shitty all over the world!! :-(

I really hope you get the job in Rowville, good luck with the resume!!

Groetjes Lin

Thanks Lin,

I have send in my new and improved resume yesterday and I'm now waiting for a call back from them, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Katrina, is out & about today again dropping more resumes of since the job she has now is only casual, they didn't say that when they hired her. So that is a bit of a bummer. :|

But she is very determend and wants to have a full-time job and is looking further today.

Greetz,
:bye: Koen

Oh oke, I will certainly keep my fingers crossed for the both of you!!

Groetjes Lin

Well.....

I thought i tell you all that i have a job interview to go today at the Ferntree gully Hotel , and on the Appication form i wrote i lke to be a 1.Bartender 2. Assistant bar manager. 3. Gaming Attentant .
So i hope today will go well and i get it , it would be much much better then where i'am working now  As i can't stand doing split shifts  and of cos only working for 2-3 hours and then off be for returning for my shift later on that night  :x :x

Other then that we are doing ok , Koen has not got a job , but we all have our fingers crossed  for him  ( He will find one )

Hope you are all enjoying the weather over there as we and whoever else is in Australia are not enjoying the cold weather
Well i must be off and go figure out what should i wear to job interview and well give that comptuer to Koen   ..lol

Talk to you all soon
And thankyou again for talking on my topic and making it interesting to read  and reply and all

Bye for now

Katrina
