Koen & Katrina de laatste stand van zaken.

Good news about the wedding , the location is so important.  And the music too.,  What type of a band do you want?

After the tropical temperatures here the temperature plummeted more than 15 degrees (in Friesland anyway) in 1 day, so from 30 degrees to just 14!  Give me 25 anyday, sounds great  :happysun:

Have fun with the rest of the arrangements

When you talk about the Whitsundays... I always think in pictures right away and it gives me goosebumps! (almost typed goosebuns ;) but I noticed it right on time  )
Think you guys are having a great wedding. Getting married on the beach! Wow ;)

Brrrr... my hands are cold again. Just the same weather again as 3 weeks ago... but it'll be for just a few days if I'm correct. In the weekend it should be getting better ;)

HI guys, how have you been? We are spending our last days in Belgium .... very stressfull because as always we are running behind on almost everything ...  :-D

Hope you guys are okay!!

Sara

Hi Everyone,

I had posted some pictures the other day, and after that this site was not reachable for about 2 days. Now that it is again I can see that the pictures are gone.
To make sure it does not happen again I would like you to have a look at our journal at : http://koenkatrina.waarbenjij.nu
When you go there you can read all the stories of the last couple of weeks and see all the pictures we have taken so far. Just a little tip, to see all the pictures you will have to go into the photo album otherwise you will only see 6 pictures.  :?

@Scutch, we have a band that plays any music you want, since we prefere the golden oldies they will playing music from the 70's, 80's, 90's & 2000. Great to have a bit of a dance on while you are drunk.....

Anyway not much else news to tell you at the moment, Katrina is out looking for a job as we speak and I'm looking on the internet for work. I hope to have found a job within the next few weeks.

Till then, take care and we'll speak to you soon.

Gr. Koen & Katrina

Great pictures Koen & Katrina

Seems crazy you having a beautiful beach  :beach: like that to yourselves, in Holland it would be mobbed, but like you say it's cold  :freezing: for the Australians, I'd love it!

Good luck with the jobhunting!

Groetjes,
Susan

Hi Scutch, yes it does seem crazy, but I just like the fact that this is a little bit out of site. Only locals come to that beach and the are hardly ever there anyway...
I guess you will be able to find some spots like this in the Netherlands as well, espacially up in the north.  :-D

So how are you doing with the pregnancy, is it growing just fine?

Anyway, take care and speak to y'all soon.

Greetz K&K

Hi K&K,

Not really many beaches up 'North', there is Makkum in Friesland but it gets busy on a nice day, but really nice to walk there on a sunny winters day, last time we did that the water was frozen, not much chance of that on a beach in Australia  :)

Belly is growing fine, everyone thinks I'm ready to pop, but still 16 weeks to go!

Greetings from a very tropical Holland  :happysun:,
Susan

G'day everyone hope all is well and your enjoying the beautiful weather in Holland at this point and time .. As home in Melbounre, Australia top temp of 16 and lows of 6-8 degrees and some days rain , just wish and also can't wait for spring to hit .....

Well i got myself a job Managing a bar 20 mins from where i live ( town called Croydon in melbourne)  and i start next saturday for a trail for 2-3 hours , just to see if i like it and if they are happy with me. Hope it all goes well and i like it as much as i like to .As this is where i have always wanted to get to, and now i'm here. I'm more over the moon .

hope you are well and looking after yourself , hope the plans to move to Australia are coming alone just fine and there are no troubles.

Regards
Katrina   :p     :-D :)

Congrats Katrina, that is great news!  Hans is in Melbourne as well and already told me about the cold weather  :-D how long do you think it will last? Is spring still far away?

Sara

Sara, you should know (as one of the few NT-wannabe's   ) that Alice Springs is several 1000 km's away from Melbourne :)

I think spring in Oz will start when autumn starts in the northern part of the world.

Katrina: good luck with your new job :)

Hi Katrina,

Fantastic news about the job, hope the trial goes well  and that your over the moon feeling stays  :)

The tropical weather here has now brought tropical rain  :cloud:, bucketing right now in Leeuwarden, at least it's a bit cooler.

Groetjes,
Susan

Hello Katrina,

Congratz and good luck with the job, you'll be fine!

Erwin and Matriette

Hello People,

Small update here, Katrina will have her trial tomorrow ( as you already know) and she is looking forward getting out of the house
At this moment she is taking care of me since I'm under the weather, I have a syste in my right ear and a blocked left ear so basicly I can't hear anything, which is very annoying since I had a job interview yesterday in Melbourne CBD.

Unfortunately they didn't want to hire me because I'm to specialized, I must say I couldn't care less because I was in a lot of pain from my right ear, never had a syst in my ear before but let me tell you it hurts like hell!!!! I haven't slept in 3 days now and I look like a zombie. :dizzy: :error:

Anyway, we'll let you know how it went with Katrina's trial as soon as she comes back tomorrow.

Till then,

Greez, Koen :cold: & Katrina

Hey there,

Hope you get better soon and sorry about the job!
Understand that you don't mind about not to be hired at the moment, but don't you feel sorry later when you feel better.
Something better is coming along.

Mariette

Poor zoeteken! I got your pm, Hans is gonna check his mail in a few hours, so he'll reply asap. Take care of yourself and your ears and talk to ya soon!
