Well what can i say this is type of living ( not to close to the other houses) , but i would love a big place , and more land ( like my last place that had, 10 acres ).
the sun was shinning today , but hey thats ok . It's not as cold as Holland :evil: :evil:
Koen and i are going today for a game of Golf :-D :-D :-D

I just read the problems with the application for the drivers licenses. It is indeed a lot of red tape. BUT there is also a factor of different states or (more likely ;-) ) different people at the offices. We had exactly the same when applyinmg for the drivers license, but after telling what e/v meant, it was all right. No need for translations or anything. Same when applying for the Medicare card, a simple explaination of ourselfs was good enough..
Of course it could also be true that in Perth people are just a bit more easy going than the average in Australia ;-) ;-) ;-)

Actually My mother in law is very easy going, she bought us a nice new bed and today I just went shopping with her and she needed something new for her house, and she ended up bying us some chestered drawers... pretty good... :-D
In the mean time we have booked our ticket to Hamilton Island from where we will take the ferry to Airly Beach. There we will rent a car or we'll go by bus over to Brissie to have a cuppa with Lin @ Sander ( lin, thanks for the phone number, I give ya a call soon) Further we have to go to point Beach and meet up with my friend. We'll be going for 10 days, so we are very much looking forward to that.
Oh and Lin.... let it slide... your in Oz, in very nice weather in Winter instead of in rain and cold in summer in Holland... :evil: :-D

Well again a quick update, I have my driverslicence, there is another story to that which I will tell on our own site very soon.
I also managed to get enrolled in Medicare today....
And.... Katrina and I bought our car today, it is a Mitsubishi Pajero Wagon color Black 4wheel drive from 1991. :-D We can pick it up on friday, so we'll put up some pictures then. :-D
So basicly everything seems to be happening now...

Wauw Koen, that's a great car!! Exactly what HAns and I would want to get when we arrive! Where did you buy it? Hans is going to buy a car for us when he is in Melbourne, maybe you can give him some pointers or let him know which dealers are safe? In which price category does a car like that fall?

For a car like stis you will have to look in the price range of $8000,00 and up.
We have had a lucky break with this car, but if you want something a bit newer your are looking at a minimum of $10.000 and up. :wink:
I really hope to be able to give hans some pointers but it all depends on the price range you are looking in.
Anyway, Katrina is now updating you guys about what we have been doing here....

Well good news , we have decided on where we are going to have the wedding.it's a nice isolated Location ( a very quite beach ) . And now we are going to find Accomadation for the guests and what type of music we wat ( how much a band will be etc ) .
the weather here in Airle Beach ( Whitsundays ) is just beautiful , i can live here . top temps of 25 degrees at this time of year , is just the best .
I'm glad it's finally warming up over there i holland for you , as i know it won't last long , but for the moment it's great .
